New Book from Microsoft, Upgrading Your Skills to MCSA Windows Server 2012

Microsoft officially launched the book titled 'Upgrading Your Skills to MCSA Windows Server 2012'. This is a book that is eagerly awaited IT professionals who want to update their certification of MCSA Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2012.

As listed on the Microsoft website, there are two paths to get Windows Server 2012 MCSA certification. First by following three exams 70-410, 70-411 and 70-412. This is the path for those who do not have Windows Server 2008 MCSA certification. And those who are already certified as an MCSA Windows Server 2008 can take the second path are to just through one exam 70-417.

 Included among those who can take the test is the holder of Virtualization Administrator MCITP certification, MCITP Enterprise Messaging Administrator, MCITP Lync Server Administrator, MCITP SharePoint Administrator or MCITP Enterprise Desktop Administrator.

The new book is a reference from Microsoft to study the topics tested on the exam 70-417. The discussion is covered in 14 chapters, namely:

Microsoft gives 2 links to buy the book, namely through O'Reilly and Amazon. For the next two years about which one is more relevant certification, Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012? In an InformationWeek survey of more than 450 respondents, the data found that in 2014 only about 33% who will upgrade their servers to Windows Server 2012. The survey states that 37% of respondents would still use Windows Server 2008.

If you decide to take the exam 70-417, Microsoft currently provides free second test facilities for candidates who have successfully passed the first test. This is certainly good news that could make a candidate more calm when taking a test.
